OOTD #2 : Consider it Handled.

I am a firm believer that everyone needs a good strong Olivia Pope + Carmen Sandiego coat.

This coat is exactly that for me! I purchased this 2 years ago in the offseason but here are  3 similar options.

It's extremely light and seals the deal with the most simple outfits. It takes an average dress and kicks it up a notch. 

I would definitely suggest wearing this in the warmer transition months (Summer-Fall and Winter to Spring) since it is so light and will not keep you incredibly warm.

Bonus points: In December I went to an Alumni mixer and wore this over a double-breasted suit dress. For the majority of the night, I left my coat belted and still got so many compliments.


When I went to New York in January I brought this coat along. The Saturday night of my stay I attended Lion King the musical on Broadway. I paired my camel duster with OTK boots (similar ones here), a black turtleneck, a plaid pencil skirt and this blush bag (similar one here).

Whenever I wear this skirt it makes me feel like an honorary member of the “Clueless” squad!
