Keeping up with my trend of visiting a museum in every city I travel to, we decided to check out The Perez Art Museum on our final day in Miami.
They do have a student discount, however, I did not bring the wallet that contains my student IDs with me. (I'm getting really good at this minimalist/ not overpacking thing.) Student tickets are $12, Adult tickets are $16. Considering that one of the exhibits on the ground level floor was closed I think tickets should have been cheaper.
When we visited it was prime time for the World Cup which made me appreciate "The World's Game" soccer exhibit even more. It was also very empty when we visited, which is always nice.
The museum has 2 floors in total. On the ground floor, there isn't really much to see. This was a very quick trip. We walked around for 45 minutes to an hour. Most of our time was spent looking at the soccer exhibit.
Overall, this was not one of my favorite museums but they had some really cool pieces.
Pele.
Fun fact: my freshman year of high school I was on the JV soccer team.
We lost every single game.
It was SO much fun! (no sarcasm)
Vinyl collection goals.
Candid photos = the best.
